Art Journaling is something that I had been meaning to try for absolutley ages, however just never seemed to find the time! I even had a lovley Dyan Reavely journal and srencils! So after looking at them for quite a while I decided that I should finally put ink to paper and start playing!
Well, this is what I came up with.........
I used Dylusion inks and mica inks in pinks, yellows, oranges, pearl, gold and create the background.
I then used one of Dyan's A4 stencils and coloured through it with black distress marker which I then outlined with white gel pen. The scene within the border was created with Dylusion stamps coloured with distress markers and mica paints. I highlighted the leaves with gel pen and created shadow around the images with charcoal and a blending stump. I used the Dylusions alphabet stamps and Tim Holtz alpha stickers to make the quote.
I really enjoyed creating this page but haven't tried making another one yet. So I think it is about time to get working on it!
